So sorry for the inconvenience of the site being down for quite a while, it took me forever to find out the root cause of the problem. But all that is now over, and the site should be working perfectly fine once again. Stay around for more updates to the site.

Check out Chris Rich has teamed up with Hollywood Knights Celebrity Basketball team and is in Bergen, Norway for a Charity Basketball Game on August 14, 2008!

The game will take place at Haukelandshallen sports arena, so Norwegian Chris Rich fans, get ready to meet him!

Sprucing Up The Richness

So sorry that it’s been a while since we brought any Chris news to everybody! Hopefully, there will be some Chris Rich news soon. Anyway, we’ve decided to give the site a new look and convert it to a blog. The change has been painstakingly slow, and unfortunately, the change is not even done yet. There’s still so much to do on the The Richness, and I do apologize for being so slow with the progress on the site. The new layout and the header should just be the start of something better.

New updates for the site should be up within the week, so check back soon!

RIP Amanda Rhea Jones

The Richness lost a very special young lady over the weekend. She’s touched the lives of many by always having a positive attitude despite her condition. Amanda you are greatly missed… gone, but NEVER forgotten.

We apologize for the lack of updates. But when it doubt, it’s all happenin’ on the message board! We have a handful of reviews from Richness members and friends who attended the show in Richmond last week which featured our boy Chris along with Josh Hoge and Ernie Halter. We have pictures, videos, and wonderful accounts of what happened that glorious night. So be sure to click on the Forum link above and join in on all of the fun!

Richness member MWOL was also kind enough to put Chris’ live performances on .mp3 so you can download it right onto your iPod!!!

Also, a new member (kelc5) was VERY fortunate to win the Edy’s home concert featuring Chris at her home in Chris’ hometown! She has already posted pictures and will be soon posting a detailed account, so keep your eyes peeled on the boards!

Coming soon, TheRichness.net will be going through a major makeover. We hope you’ll love it!

Final Report for Project: Amanda Laptop

We raised $1,604.72 (net total minus PayPal fees) for the Amanda Laptop effort. The total cost of the purchase of a laptop computer with Microsoft Office software, warranty coverage and other fixings came to a total of $1220.28. The balance remaining is $384.44, in which Amanda’s mom Tammy was issued a check for today.

Word is that Tammy will be using the money to buy Amanda a printer to go with her laptop.

Once again, give yourselves a great round of applause for coming through for Amanda on such short notice. Chris Rich (The Richness), Elliott Yamin (E-Train), and Chris Sligh (The Fro Patro) have the BEST fans!!!!

Forum Trouble

A few of our members are having trouble getting to the forums, while others are getting right on. We’ve found if you clear your browsing history, cookies, temp files, etc. you should be able to get to the message boards with no problems. Thanks for being patient and if you have any other problems contact the webmaster.

The Richness’ very own Meames updated us on the purchase of the laptop:

“Amanda’s laptop is PAID for and ready for pick up!!!! We added Microsoft home and Student Package, GeekSquad’s Advanced securitysetup/coverage, and a 1 year accidental damage service plan for a total of $1220.28. I will be sending a check to Amanda with the remainder of the funds raised.

Yay!!! Thanks to the members of the E-Train, The Richness, and friends of The Richness. You should be proud of yourselves for sewing in such good ground. Family friend Paula will be picking up the laptop on Saturday and delivering it to Amanda in TN. We will continue to update you after Amanda is up and running on her brand new laptop that YOU helped to get her.

The Latest Amanda Project

Our dear Amanda Jones (see left and below) gathers her strength from her family and all the love that everyone has been showing her from around the globe through the Internet. She currently has a computer that is on its last legs and hasn’t been doing quite so well lately. The Richness in collaboration with Etrain (Elliott Yamin’s fanbase) has thought of giving her something back for being such an inspiration and for showing such courage by raising funds so that she may have a new laptop. This can be considered as a get well present for her.
