The Richness lost a very special young lady over the weekend. She’s touched the lives of many by always having a positive attitude despite her condition. Amanda you are greatly missed… gone, but NEVER forgotten.

We have a handful of reviews from Richness members and friends who attended the show in Richmond last week which featured our boy Chris along with Josh Hoge and Ernie Halter. Also, a new member (kelc5) was VERY fortunate to win the Edy’s home concert featuring Chris at her home in Chris’ hometown! She has already posted pictures and will be soon posting a detailed account, so keep your eyes peeled on the boards!

We raised $1,604.72 (net total minus PayPal fees) for the Amanda Laptop effort. The total cost of the purchase of a laptop computer with Microsoft Office software, warranty coverage and other fixings came to a total of $1220.28. The balance remaining is $384.44, in which Amanda’s mom Tammy was issued a check for today.
Word is that Tammy will be using the money to buy Amanda a printer to go with her laptop.
Once again, give yourselves a great round of applause for coming through for Amanda on such short notice. Chris Rich (The Richness), Elliott Yamin (E-Train), and Chris Sligh (The Fro Patro) have the BEST fans!!!!
A few of our members are having trouble getting to the forums, while others are getting right on. We’ve found if you clear your browsing history, cookies, temp files, etc. you should be able to get to the message boards with no problems. The Richness’ very own Meames updated us on the purchase of the laptop:

Yay!!! Thanks to the members of the E-Train, The Richness, and friends of The Richness. You should be proud of yourselves for sewing in such good ground. Family friend Paula will be picking up the laptop on Saturday and delivering it to Amanda in TN. We will continue to update you after Amanda is up and running on her brand new laptop that YOU helped to get her. 
Everyone stay on the lookout for the newest Richness Contest for promoting All Alone! Chris has already given us the go, and things as of now are being ironed out in preparation for the contest.

Our dear Amanda Jones (see left and below) gathers her strength from her family and all the love that everyone has been showing her from around the globe through the Internet. She currently has a computer that is on its last legs and hasn’t been doing quite so well lately. The Richness in collaboration with Etrain (Elliott Yamin’s fanbase) has thought of giving her something back for being such an inspiration and for showing such courage by raising funds so that she may have a new laptop. This can be considered as a get well present for her.

The Edy’s tour is alive and well. Chris has seven tour dates remaining including today’s day #2 appearance in Seattle. In addition, Chris has been signing our very own calendars on the tour. What makes these calendars so special is that these pictures have been submitted by YOU, the fans! Last night’s party on The Richness boards was a smash! Thanks to everyone for joining us in chat on the boards to celebrate one year together as The Richness as well as Chris’ single “All Alone” coming into fruition.
We also would like to sincerely thank Chris’ dad, The DR himself (Danny Richardson) for coming by and celebrating with us. Our very own Meames captured The DR’s chat with The Richness and it is now posted in the forum in the “PARTY THREAD” in the General Chris Discussion sub-forum. So get there right away and see what you missed!
The DR told us that Chris’ single should be hitting iTunes and the airwaves VERY soon. So make sure you request it at your local radio stations. Let’s make Chris #1 as he deserves to be!
